always wanted to feel comfortable in my own skin
Being a plus size girl in this world, where every corner
you turn the skinniest models are on runway or on bill-
boards, it’s a struggle feeling happy the way you are (at least
I struggled with it). I don’t know when my love for fashion
& beauty started. Buying every single Vogue magazine and
reading it like my life depended on it! I don’t know when it
happened, but it made me who I am today! As much as I love
going through magazines and getting inspired by them, what
impresses me the most is personal style. I struggled a lot with
my own image. I missed out on a lot because I was not happy
with myself, with my size! Every time I said I’m a plus size, my
best friend corrected me and told me “you are a cute size”.
This always reminded me not to label myself as anything.
I started my blog to inspire others, to encourage them to be
themselves and never be ashamed of who they are no matter
their color, look, size and shape. Note Blair is all about inspir-
ing others to love themselves. Along the way, I learned how
to accept myself and love myself. S
