Happens that for the very first time in Latinamerica a plus size oriented brand put together a fashion campaign with a model of my size and my beauty type . While over and over again people in social media bully me , magazines refuse to put me on the cover or make editorials with me , and some other companies do not ever consider me as a model , this was happening .
I ´ ve wore different types of clothes , love them all . One more of my type , some others not so much but as I always say , is healthy and necessary to step out of your comfort zone when it comes to dress .
When I started to advocate for beauty diversity 22 years ago just when I started my career as the very first Latina plus model worldwide , I always talked about diversity as a whole , from head to toe , not just our weight or “ flaws ”, and if you ask me , we need to keep on this conversation . People need to understand no one needs to look like someone else , or this person is ugly because of this and that .
