long, hot summer is responsible for
many wonderful things – driving with
the windows down, having an ice
lolly at 11am and making adult paddling pools
acceptable – but it’s also responsible for sun
spots, which are not so wonderful. Don’t get
us wrong, a light smattering of freckles across
the nose and cheekbones will always look
effortlessly youthful; it’s when these freckles
morph into dark spots and these dark spots
turn into dark patches when things get less
