Editor’s Letter The Courage To Succeed Stories to inspire courage ver the past year, I have had the privilege of reading countless astounding stories of migrants from all around the world, and I have discovered one unquestionable commonality – strength. Each and every story has highlighted an unsurpassed determination to succeed, and an unwavering commitment to beating the odds. No matter the barriers – language or culture – these stories are evident that migrants coming to Australia can overcome them and thrive. The articles within this edition are no exception to this truth, and I invite you to take a moment out of your day and meet some truly inspiring migrants. In A Courage Leap on page 18, we meet two migrants who decided to take a gamble on themselves at a chance for something better. At just 20 years old, Anthony Kirby moved from the UK with $200, a suitcase and a head full of dreams. Since then, he has worked his way up the real estate ranks, before deciding to go it alone. Anthony now runs a successful business helping entrepreneurs and business owners unlock sustainable growth. Wilson Casado shares a similar story of leaving a familiar life and venturing into the unknown. He and his wife decided to develop their careers internationally and made the move to Australia.
