Are you currently working on any skate
related projects?
Trying avidly to turn professional. Haha.
But I’m working on a full length part being
filmed and edited by Wes Reeves and I’m
also working on a Thrasher Magazine x
Roller Horror skateboards video part as well
as trying to skate as many contests as I can
get to. Always try to stay busy.
Your skating is pretty diverse. You’re
tech and you get buck af!! What’s going
through your mind when you are trying a
really hard trick?
Thank you. The more I skate and the more
I learn about skating is how much of it is
mental. So most of my battle is convincing
myself that I absolutely believe I can do this
trick. Then besides that, it’s just trial and
error until we’re victorious. Well that’s the
plan. Haha I just try to stay positive. I have
the best luck when I’m happy.
What are some things you do outside of
skateboarding?
Yes. Haha I’ll try anything but usually I like to
go hiking, swimming, golfing, hit the beach,
jet ski, atv, shoot guns, and the casino is
always fun. Oh and I do like to party!
I feel like you are the hype man of the
session every time we skate together.
Your spirits are always high and keep
skateboarding fun. Where does that
positive energy come from?
I’m the class clown man and school’s always
in session. Haha. Like I said, I have the best
luck when I’m having fun. It’s all passion. I
get mad and angry too but I try to step back
and change it to a positive mood.
Happiness overpowers all.
What skateboarders do you look up to
nowadays?
I look up to a lot of my friends actually. I look
up to people like Jon Dickson and Chaz Ortiz,
hometown friends who’ve both made it. As
well as Micky Papa who’s always grinding on
and off his skateboard. And Zander Gabriel
and Elliot Murphy. Skaters and business
owners and just beasts in all aspects of life.
What does your typical, “Day in the Life,”
consist of?
Depends what the night before had in store
but usually I’ll wake up, make a huge break-
fast (I love food), hit everyone up, and see if
anyone is skating or filming and see where Any Last words?
