terflies. I don’t know why. I have skated it
several times but somehow walking up those
stairs always does. I think I know why. The
bowl is massive, It’s an enormous wooden
structure. The nickname “The Ark,” fits it
perfectly. I stepped onto the deck of the Ark
and see Christian aka Mr. Diamond smashing
around the bowl. I quickly noticed a Skidmark
banner hanging upside down on the wall in
the deep end. I instantly laughed and yelled
in the bowl, “Why the hell is my banner upside
down!?”
Christian finished his run and stepped up onto
the deck and said, “Since you ran one of my
ads sideways in your magazine, I think it is
only fair if I hang one of your banners upside
down. “Seems fair to me” I replied. The upside
down banner made for a really cool photo of
Demarcus James. I posted a few clips on @
SkidmarkSkatemag‘s instagram that day and
