Who are you and where are you from?
I’m Rafael Perez and I’m from Los Angeles,
CA
How was it growing up and skating in
South Central LA?
It got pretty crazy a few times, back
when I was in high school, a couple of my
homies got jacked at gunpoint for their
boards. None of us had cars at the time
so we would be in the sketchiest areas.
What’s your favorite
skateboarding?

Just being out skating with a bunch of
homies is always a good time and that
feeling you get when you are rolling away
from a trick you’ve been battling, there’s
no better feeling.
Who do you ride for?
Mainline skate shop, Filament brand,
Remind insoles.
What’s your typical day like?
Shout outs/thank yous?
Wake up, go get some food, go skate a
park for a few hours, and then head out
to work... Hit streets whenever I can.
