JORDAN GAP TO POWERSLIDE Fortunately, the fine folks over at Thrasher Magazine welcomed the crew with open arms to come skate Double Rock for the rest of the day and into the evening. After a night of multiple Uber rides, a couple bars, countless beers, a little whiskey, a joint or two (with our Uber driver), and a few folks watching the California sunrise over the Bay, we all showered again (because we could). It was Monday. I hate Mondays, but this Monday wasn’t all that bad. We made one last stop before turning the van around and heading southbound back to our normal 9-5 grind. Richie recently had an unbelievable part come out with Thrasher and wanted to swing by the office to thank them in person. They once again welcomed us in and gave us a tour behind the scenes where all the magic happens. I think the best part of that day was Richie walking into Thrasher with an open tall can of beer at 10 am on a Monday. Not one person bat an eye or said a word. Now that’s freedom right there.
