IT’S ALWAYS A BUMMER WHEN YOU LOSE A SPOT, but Wastelands is like a phoenix.
Always rising from the dirt and barbed wire. A lot of blood sweat and beer went
into making everything there. I’m proud to have helped (what little I did) contribute
to skateboarding. Pouring something with people is always a learning experience.
When you have a bunch of creative people working together, it’s amazing what you
can create. Maintenance can be a bitch sometimes, but in the end it’s worth it when
you see someone enjoying what you’ve made. People are always saying “Man I wish
there were more places to skate.” So go make some! Grab some bags of crete, some
tools, a few of your favorite beverages, and some good friends and go build some shit!
