Motorcycle Maniac Motorcy JOHN 1. What kind of bike you riding and what have you done to it? I have a 2013 FXDB 96 cubic inch Streetbob. I haven't done any major to the motor except for put on a Bassani Road Rage 2 into 1 pipe, an Arlene Ness Big Sucker stage 1 air cleaner and a FuelPak fuel manager. Suspension and handling are key for the canyons around my area of Ventura/Santa Barbara. The bike was a little spongy and low from the stock suspension so I put on Progressive 12.5" 970 Series piggypack in the rear and the Progressive adjustable monotube cartridge in the front. I threw on a GPR steering dampener along with a HD Screaming Eagle fork brace to stiffen the front end more. I replaced the stock flexy ape hangers with Biltwell's 10 inch Murdock risers and their tracker bars, with Performance Machine Contour grips. Chris at Volholl traded me some skate stuff for a PocketPistol utility bag. It’s the best thing ever and made in the USA. I throw my tools, extra gloves and snacks in there. I use that bag on every ride. The stock seat is a little wide for my short ass legs so I put on a Mustang Squareback. The Squareback has a dead stop 90 degree step in it. It’s also a nice comfy seat in the back for the lady. I had to replace the funky looking stock bobbed fender with a full fender and added a Costume Dynamics Genius II Tail Light to it. I didn’t like rear turn signals because they look like alien eyes. So took them off and put some Alloy Arts strut lights on there to clean up the rear end. Other cosmetic things I threw on were the HD Switchblade mags, HD Daymaker headlight (I have a Moto Illumination coming in the mail), HD flush-mount fuel cap & gauge kit, and a Ness narrow glide louvered fairing beveled out to fit my wider front end and Biltwell Mushman pedals. These pedal are probably 1 inch shorter than stock so you get even more clearance. All in all, I am pretty happy with the out come. The thing rails. The only thing I need now is a my buddy David’s FXRT and do it all over again. 3. What’s the craziest thing that has happened
