Are you skating nowadays?
I am still skating, although I do not have as much time as when I was younger, but still I
am trying to keep in condition. I’m going to make a part about it, so we’ll see if it stays
only for the trying :)
I also attend contests, usually not riding, because of races sponsorship, but recently I
show up on one as well. Different best tricks were rode at a ollie contest. I managed to
win the best trick on the rail and ollie contest. Although I was unable to jump 101 cm,
which is Czech and my record, but I was happy.
What was the inspiration for Restart skateboards?
Restart skateboards was established by me and my friend in 2010. We wanted to create
a brand to which we give our hearts skateboard, create professional team riders and
support skateboarding scene that was not doing too well at that time.
We did not want to be the only brand that sells it´s name. We wanted to give more of
ourselves, a little play with it and to improve technology. Therefore, we started to selfproduce boards.
How did the business start?
After winning young businessman competition, in garage,
with nothing but dedication to fulfil our dreams.
