The annual Awards Evenings perfectly capture and
acknowledge the unique partnership between students,
parents and teachers that underpins the success of
students and makes Sir John Deane’s so special.
We celebrate academic excellence, musical, theatrical
and artistic beauty, impressive sporting prowess and
the bold resilience of individuals. In a tradition going
back more than a century, the College’s most prestigious
prize, the Saner Medal, is presented to the Student
of the Year for all round academic excellence and
contribution to College life.
