If you have an approachable, trustworthy, enthusiastic and compassionate nature, this is an ideal course for you. We don’t expect you to do any preparation as such for September, but it would do you no harm to volunteer in a care setting over the summer break in order to get some work experience so that you can apply your experience to aspects of the course.
