Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and you’re in Sin City! Perhaps one of the best cities in the world for this holiday. You don’t have to travel across the globe to find romance in this city for lovers, you can go anywhere in the world on the Las Vegas Strip.

When I think of some of the most romantic spots in our city the first to come to mind are the Eiffel Tower at the Paris and Gondola Rides at the Venetian, the High Roller at the Linq, the fountains at Caesars or the Bellagio, and if you don’t mind a short drive the Mt. Charleston Lodge are the first places that come to mind

How about dinner? There’s no shortage of fine dining to match any pallet here in Sin City. Whatever your pallet desires you can find it in Las Vegas. Some of my favorites include Le Cirque at the Bellagio, Costa di Marie at Wynn Las Vegas, Alize at the top of the Palms, CUT by Wolfgang Puck, but the best kept secret in Las Vegas is Hugo’s Cellar hidden away underneath the 4 Queens Hotel in Downtown Las Vegas. You’d probably never know about Hugo’s unless a friend told you about it. (Wink) If it’s a world class steak dinner you’re after…. There’s only one place, the Golden Steer Steakhouse. This place has history! In operation in Las Vegas since 1958 it still has that “Old Las Vegas” charm. You’ll feel like you stepped back in time. Of course I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that they have had just a few infamous customers over the last 57 years. Tony "The Ant" Spilatro, Natalie Wood, Al Hirt, Nat "King" Cole, Joe DiMaggio, Elvis Presley Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. and Mario Andretti just to name a few. For more great dining choices visit the Vegas Eater.

Let’s not forget a show! There’s something for every taste from the acrobatics at a Cirque show, legendary divas, comedy, magic and more. is a great source for the latest information on shows on the Fabulous Las Vegas Strip.

Lastly, love and marriage go together in the Wedding Capital of the World. Vintage and luxury chapels await you and everything you need to plan your perfect day can be found on the Las Vegas Wedding Chamber of Commerce website at

So there you have it plenty of choices just add romance and you’re sure to seal the deal!

Happy Valentine’s Day!
