REIKI: FOR HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

R eiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and
relaxation. It is a tool to use as a complement to traditional
medicine, and is practiced in many hospitals and medical
care settings today. It is not massage, nor is it based on
belief or suggestion, but it can assist the body in creating an
environment to facilitate calm and healing.
The integrative therapy of Reiki is used for individuals
to relax and strengthen their wellbeing by increasing their
“life force energy.” As the flow of this energy moves through
the physical, emotional and spiritual body, it can become
blocked or stagnant; the energy is said to be unbalanced,
and can explain why your body is “just feeling off.” Reiki
supports by working to increase the energy flow through
the body to support the reduction of pain, inflammation,
anxiety, depression, and fatigue. The reduction of medication
side effects and assistance in the recovery of surgery is also
supported by Reiki.
Reiki is a wonderful compliment to your personal wellness
