THINGS WE’VE SEEN...
JOIN A WESTDALE FILM CLUB!

We have kept the vision of The Westdale going during our
temporary closure by creating online opportunities for our
community to come together and do what they love – watch,
and talk about movies!
There is no charge to join. All you need is the free Zoom app,
and the streaming service that the films are available on. We
will be using Netflix, Kanopy, Amazon Prime, Crave, Youtube,
Criterion Channel and other streaming and rental platforms.
We will let you know of the films in advance and each Film
Club will use the platforms that most of the group has. Each
club will have up to 12 participants, first-come, first-served!
The current Film Clubs are:
• Hamilton Public Library Kanopy Film Forum
with Marcel Faulkner & Rick Jackman
• Sports Movies with Dan Fournier
• Steve McQueen Films with Harris Goldberg
• The Elevated Genre with Robert Werthheimer
• Hollywood Classics with Fred Fuchs
• Music in Film Club with Alysha Main
• Cinema Insieme Italian Film Club with Ernesto Virgulti
• Coen Brothers Film Club with Carl Feldmann
It’s easy to join a Film Club!
1. Select the Film Club that you want to join. All of the film
clubs and their dates are listed HERE (CLICK). All
Film Clubs will meet online on Zoom once a week. Don’t
worry, if you don’t have Zoom, or need some help with it,
because we are here to help!
2. Sign up for your weekly Film Club
3. We will send you an invitation to join a Zoom meeting
that will have the time and date of the first time your club
will meet. Included in that invitation will be the first film
you need to watch on your own before the club meets.
4. Watch the film on your own time, and then join your
club online.
