PRESSURE POINTS FOR INSOMNIA

Almost 60 % of us have trouble sleeping at night . According to several studies , the following 4 acupressure points have been shown to help sufferers fall asleep faster and enjoy better quality sleep : ( not recommended during pregnancy )
Shimien – also known as the “ insomnia point ” due to its ability to help relax the mind and quickly promote a restful sleep . It ’ s located at the most tender spot on the sole of the foot , so apply a gentle pressure .
Neiguan – otherwise known as the “ inner gate ”, is a pressure point that helps with relaxation and to calm the mind from anxiety . It ’ s also effective to relieve nausea , upset stomach , motion sickness , and headaches .
