It was then that Jim launched into a series of questions that would reveal the difference between his sale and Bill ’ s choice . He discovered :
1 That we are experienced Realtors , and we have been helping people sell their home and stay in it – the place their love – for over four years .
2 That we ’ ve developed extensive training programs , reports , checklist , procedures , and contracts ensuring success , safety , and happiness .
3 Our focus is creating a low-stress , private program that was win-win for everyone involved .
4 That we have a huge database of reputable and interested investors who are thrilled to have a niche program , which doesn ’ t compete with the general public ’ s desire to own real estate .
5 He loved the strategy of our rental contracts , and said when his contract was up this year he would get us to negotiate new terms . – which would be worth it for him .
6 That we have a global reach to sell his home to local and foreign buyers .
7 That we protect client ’ s privacy so that no one on the street knew , unless you told them .
8 That we don ’ t promote our program with signage or open houses , or “ just listed ” cards .
9 That our investors are pre-screened , so only qualified candidates can enter your home .
10 That we are present in every appointment .
After this lengthy discussion , Jim sat back and said , “ I blame you .”
To which I replied , “ Me ??”
“ Yes ,” he continued . “ If you had a better marketing strategy , I would have found you and benefitted from your rental strategy and program ’ s innate benefits .”
I apologized , and promised to do better in the future .•
