March – The City of Burlington has designated the
month of March to be “National PROBUS Month”.
Probus was founded in England back in 1965 as an offshoot of
Rotary Club, when it’s members recognized there was a need
for a social organization that would provide regular and ongoing
fellowship, plus a wide range of activities for those in retirement,
who wanted and valued opportunities to meet people in similar
circumstances with whom they could share a myriad of interests.
