There is absolutely no need for any of us to fall victims
to hunger, illness, depression, accidents or even fraud,
when most eventualities are preventable. You can be
proactive when it comes to your well being by doing
a little advance planning, and by accepting that it’s no
disgrace to ask for some assistance.
Get to know your neighbours, if you don’t already. Learn
who is willing to help and in whom you can trust. Have
a plan in place for lawn cutting, snow removal, garbage
set-out, for the times when you are unable to handle those
tasks. There may be boy scouts or other youth groups
who are willing and able to volunteer.
