MW: When audiences come to see this play, they’re going to experience it as one of Horton’s most outrageous comedies and one of his darkest, most poignant plays. I think Horton is vividly and acutely looking at the breakdown of American society; what we used to rely on as being the bones of a community, the ties that used to bind families together, can’t sustain people anymore.
