BOARD SPOTLIGHT “It has been a privilege to sit on Signature’s Board of Trustees for the past 10 years. I am very pleased and very proud to have been a part of the growth of the company and the construction of Signature’s remarkable home. I have so many memories – going to meetings at the Lower Manhattan Development Council, signing the contract with the developer, attending a fundraising event at Edward Norton’s home where the Frank Gehry Signature Trustee Michael Rauch models were on display, fighting for the fly tower in The Diamond and The Griffin, and many more. It was a long road, and feels incredibly satisfying to see what the company, and the building, has become. What is even more exciting is that there are still many great things ahead.” Michael H. Rauch joined Signature Theatre’s Board of Trustees in 2005 after being introduced to the company a few years earlier when his son Matthew, an actor, appeared in Lanford Wilson’s Book of Days. He served as President of the Board until 2014, and now serves on the Executive Committee and the Board Development Task Force. He also served on the Project Management Michael’s Favorite Signature Memories Team for Signature’s new home, working closely with Jim Houghton, Erika Mallin, and the Signature team to oversee construction of The Pershing Square Signature Center. Mr. Rauch joined Fried Frank in 1968 and became a partner in 1972. He has been of counsel since 2004. Mr. Rauch has served as Fried Frank’s co-managing partner and as co-chair of the New York litigation department. 1. I knew nothing about 2. Horton Foote’s 3. Being a part of the 4.
