year LED warranty. A ten year limited product and
labour warranty sets SloanLED apart.
SloanLED is doubling their product warranty
and adding a labour assistance warranty. For
power supplies, SloanLED has added five year
labour assistance to the existing five year product
warranty. With quality manufacturing processes
and rigorous product testing, SloanLED has
confidence in the quality of their products.
Neschen presented innovations in its graphics
portfolio at photokina in September. With the
presentation ‘The Gallery’ Neschen showed the
latest innovations of its product portfolio, with
special focus on the gudy Fine Art range, a certified
solution for the application of photos on panels.
A special adhesive formulation compensates for
the tension between flexible and rigid surfaces. It
is used for mounting and framing of photographs,
fine art prints, Giclée prints and more. The
gudy Fine Art products are used by professional
photographers as well as international museums
and galleries.
SloanLED products are engineered to perform
and last in sign applications around the world,
with the warranty coverage to prove it. With most
products covered by its ten year product warranty,
customers can rest assured that their investment
in signage is well-protected. SloanLED also offers a
labour warranty for an extra layer of coverage.
Dealing with warranties can be frustrating,
so SloanLED has an online claim form where
customers can file their claim instantly. Chances are
customers will never need to file a claim, but if they
do, SloanLED will expediently handle the entire
process.
audience of fashion and retail influencers, Matei
explained that her artwork was inspired by the
diversity and multiculturalism of the Hackney
community, which she had expressed in a large-
scale mural with bright colours to spread energy,
love and connection.
Angus McGuffin, creative director for Avery
Dennison and Mactac Europe said, ‘The mural,
printed and applied using Mactac WW (Wall Wrap)
100 Pro, has transformed the black brick surface
of the railway arch into a colourful, and impactful
piece of art. The colour and size created a brilliant
instagrammable moment.’
Jack Basrawy, chairman of Hackney Walk added,
‘I believe this installation will be an iconic part of
Bohemia Place, setting the tone for the creative and
inclusive environment that we are building here.
The graphic really has transformed the arch.’
Alongside the installation of Matei’s mural, was

The winning design by artist Linea Matei in Mactac
Europe’s ‘Bright Young Things Take Hackney’
graphic design competition was recently revealed.
Launched in December 2017, Bright Young Things
Take Hackney was open to 2016/2017 graduate
artists and designers and to students studying art
and design in Europe, including Turkey, Cyprus,
Russia, Ukraine and Israel.
Entrants were asked to create a high-impact,
large-scale display for exterior retail walls. Linea
Matei, who was selected as the winner by a panel
of expert judges, was there with her family, to see
the big reveal of her design on a large outdoor wall
located at Bohemia Place in Hackney, London.
Matei works with conceptual and illustrative
art, textile print design and workshops. Through
her work she explores relations, behaviours and
cultural norms. Sharing a few words with the

Wienefoet and Ralph Walczyk at the fortress
Wilhelmsburg in Ulm, Germany.
Its rugged, weather-resistant, residue-free and
removable film characteristics made the digitally
printable film the ideal solution for the artwork. As
part of the project Pop Up Space 2018, the artists
laminated the lettering ‘This is mine all mine’ onto
the outer wall of the fortress Wilhelmsburg.
They ask in a provocative way to whom a public
space, a national monument of culture and at
least the fortress itself belongs to. And the answer
is astonishingly easy: it belongs to every single
citizen of the city of Ulm. This is why the project
