Exion Corporation recently ran an LED signage photo
competition from 20 August - 7 September 2018,
which required participants to photograph the
design of their best LED sign.
The competition was run in collaboration with
Samsung South Africa, and encouraged players in
the signage industry to use eco-friendly lighting as
well as the correct calculation and wiring.
First prize
Company: Greensky Brand Architects (Pty) Ltd.
Design: Absa.
Prize: The latest Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (valued at
R18,999).
Fifth prize
Company: Creative Edge.
Design: Happy Valley Casino.
Prize: 20 modules of High Power DA-18 Edge-Lit
(No need for PSU as there is a direct connection to
AC220V).
Judging was done by Exion Corporation and
Samsung South Africa staff members.

REXX SCREEN & DIGITAL SUPPLIES INSTALLS KORNIT STORM HEXA
Rexx Screen & Digital Supplies has reported the
installation of a Kornit Storm Hexa at Vic Bay
Gauteng, one of many installations by the company
within the nationwide Vic Bay network.
According to Vic Bay Gauteng’s Mike Shiller, after
doing extensive market research, the company
believed that the Kornit range of digital printers are
the market leaders in technology and innovation
in the field of DTG printing. The company is also
seeing the benefit of lower production costs and
higher volume output.
‘Rexx has been a great support and supply partner
for us as any issues we have had have been dealt
with in a professional manner,’ said Shiller, ‘They
almost feel like they are a part of my team.’ making it a more customer orientated business.
Vic Bay Gauteng have traditionally been a T-shirt
and promotional garment wholesaler, and are now
giving customers an added service of printing – ‘This is an excellent DTG machine which produces
