Donald and Cheri De Jong, named
Outstanding Philanthropists by North-American Interfraternity
Conference Foundation
The De Jongs have been generous donors to both Sigma Kappa Foundation and
The Educational Foundation of Alpha Gamma Rho for over 25 years. Donald and
Cheri are legacy builders who lead through action. They generously supported
The Educational Foundation of Alpha Gamma Rho’s recent capital campaign for
AGRconnect and were among the first to commit a leadership gift to Sigma Kappa
Foundation’s very first campaign.
Donald and Cheri are deeply committed to advancing the fraternal community,
and they do so by giving of their time and leadership in addition to their generous
philanthropic support. Cheri serves as a Foundation trustee, co-chair for the Shared
Hearts. New Heights. Campaign, Sorority past national president, and president of
the Fraternity & Sorority Political Action Committee.
Donald and Cheri live in Dalhart, Texas. They have three daughters: Ashley, Allison
and Alexandra, who are all sorority women.
