It means Inspired. The people that I am lucky enough to connect with through ISTE, challenge me to do more, inspire me to make a change, and motivate me to share with others.

I enjoy being part of the capital ‘I’. It helps you see other perspectives and bring in other points of view. It is no more or less demanding than being part of ISTE from California or Georgia (USA or Europe). At the end of the day, would I like to see more International in STE, yes. As the man said ‘Don’t bring me problems, bring me solutions.’ A shift to more internationalism in ISTE probably needs to be driven by those of us who eat breakfast when everyone else is eating dinner.

Let the last word go Mustafa Sandal. He sings of ‘İsyankar’ and that means rebellious. A pity he does notsing about collaboration rather than rebellion because maybe that may make him more internationally attractive. Just ask ISTE.
