Adrian, Michigan, is home to roughly 22,000 people, and there is plenty to do (and eat). Grab ice cream at the Spotted Cow, wings at Fricker’s, or pizza at Sauce on historic Main Street. The heart of our campus community is the Donna E. and Delbert J. McLaughlin University Center, known to Siena students as the “UC.” It’s where everyone comes together for meals in the dining hall, workouts in the cardio room, or just to hang out in one of the many common spaces. The UC also is home to the Barnes & Noble bookstore and the campus coffee shop. At Siena, legend has it that if you talk about someone, that person will show up immediately. True or not, it’s one reason you won’t find much gossip here. Ledwidge Hall and Archangelus Hall As a freshman, you’ll live in one of these halls, which feature lounges, game rooms, study areas, meeting areas, TV rooms, laundry facilities and more. Campus Village Sophomores, juniors and seniors have the opportunity to live in this upscale apartment building, which offers two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments. Each bedroom has a private bathroom, and apartments are fully furnished and equipped with washer and dryer, satellite television, and high speed internet. CONFIDENCE How does getting showered with all the colors of the rainbow build confidence? Just ask the students who plan our annual Holi Festival. The event celebrates Indian culture with a bonfire ceremony, traditional food, and a colored powder free-for-all that leaves the entire campus with a psychedelic smile. Holi Fest is just one example of the many student-run events and organizations at Siena. You might organize the live music lineup for one of our monthly coffeehouses, or help the basketball team collect cans for the “Hunger Games” food drive. Start a new club in your major, or dream up a theme for the next movie night in your residence hall. Here, every day comes with a chance to get involved and explore something new. Just imagine the interests and talents you’ll develop in four years at Siena.
