Collide-a-Scope of Different Art Styles to Mesh Into a Healthy Mind

" I draw inspiration from a multitude of sources, including and not limited to the inner workings of my mind, African artistry, the bold neon colors of Lisa Frank, and even pop surrealism. I enjoy creating pieces, from abstract patterns to stylized portrait illustrations that feature intricate details, and bright colors...

For me, art is therapeutic. It is my form of meditation."

Sultonah

Scott

"Selfie"

It makes sense that Sultonah sees art as a form of introspective therapy considering she is shaping the young minds of today, specifically in how they can form their own shapes. Miss Scott is an art teacher trying to give children the education in art she didn't have, being self-taught. Her works can sometimes look like a sketch done with your eyes closed and not pulling the pencil off the paper, like in her "Selfie" piece above, or it can take on the image of an oil spill in space caused by an out of control space shuttle carrying the zodiac animals.
