Ramón Muñoz CONTRIBUTORS Ramón Muñoz teaches Spanish at Yuba college in Marysville, CA. Thanks to Migrant Education and Upward Bound, he was the first member of his family to graduate from high school and go on to College. He holds degrees in Spanish and French and has taught at all levels: Migrant Head Start, k-12, adult education and college. Paula Chorley Paula Chorley was an American correspondent for a major German television network, Pro-Seiben (Channel 7) for the program “Taff”.  When she is not writing editorial copy she is either writing screenplays, TV shows, or working on her next art project. Manuel Pacheco Manuel Pacheco is a Media Production Specialist with the DEGREES Project at Sacramento State University. He has a Bachelors of Arts in Communication Studies with a concentration in Digital Media/Video. He owns a commercial and non-profit video production and photography company and works in radio, with Adelante Media Group, and Television, with KUVS Univision 19 in Sacramento. Rudy Garcia Rudy Garcia has been drawing since the age of four. He is studying to be a professional comic book artist. Being of Mexican descent, his culture and religion influence his art and ser ve as a motivating factor in his pieces. Jennifer Garcia Jacob Sigala Jennifer Garcia is currently working toward her B.S. in psychology. She satisfies her love for the arts by dancing ballet. Jennifer has always been involved with her community, working for her local church, coffee shop, and her community magazine. Christopher Johnson Jacob Sigala lives in Los Angeles where he has been exposed to a range of art and culture that have sparked his interest in fashion. He obtained his BA in media and  culture  studies with a minor in business administration from  UC Riverside. He is currently studying fashion at FIDM. Roberto Ysais Chris Johnson grew up outside Atlanta, GA and has spent over a decade working in high-level communications positions on Capitol Hill, the Human Rights Campaign and the Venice Art Walk & Auctions. A graduate of Duke University, Johnson is currently editor of Si magazine and resides in Los Angeles. Roberto Ysais has enjoyed a 35 year career as a versatile photographer covering everything from disappearing indigenous tribes, to fashion, to travel. His work has been exhibited at the Smithsonian Institution in New York and Washington, D.C., in México, in Denmark, in China and has been published by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian and National Geographic, as well as in China. In 2010, he received an honorary degree from the Normal University in Shanghai, China and in 2011 he received the International Lang Chin-san Award for Photography in Shanghai.
