WOMEN & THE SHRINE
>> When
the Shriners Hospital network was founded
in 1922, the ladies of LOSNA decided to put shoulder to
wheel and since then have contributed to the success of
this philanthropy. With more than 16,000 members in 76
associations throughout North America, LOSNA gives more
$500,000 annually to finance the Shriners Hospitals for
Children. In Canada, they were instrumental in the financing
of the EOS machine and have participated to the Excep-
tional Care for Exceptional Kids Campaign for the financing
of the new Movement Analysis Lab. In addition, these ladies
help to equip educational play areas and classrooms, while
offering quilts, books and toys to patients.
