Mejkerzy The Makers
Mejkerzy to długofalowy projekt animacyjno-kulturalny , który obejmował regularne spotkania zespołu festiwalu z uczniami jednej klasy Technikum nr 6 ( Zespół Szkół Zawodowych nr 1 w Poznaniu ). Finałem trzymiesięcznej współpracy będzie projekt audiowizualny , który zostanie zrealizowany przez uczniów w Centrum Amarant podczas tegorocznej edycji Short Waves Festival .
W ramach spotkań warsztatowych , uczestnicy pracowali w trzech grupach : kuratorskiej , producenckiej i promocyjnej . Realizowali praktyczne ćwiczenia z tworzenia koncepcji projektów , identyfikacji graficznej i projektowania budżetu . Inspiracją do realizacji finałowego pokazu jest wybrany przez nich film krótkometrażowy “ Beat ” ( reż . Aneil Karia , fabuła , Wielka Brytania 2013 , 12 ’), w którym wyrażone w tańcu emocje stają się punktem wyjścia do dyskusji na temat odmienności i samotności we współczesnym mieście .
Inicjatywa ta po raz pierwszy pojawia się w programie Short Waves Festival jako efekt zaobserwowanej potrzeby angażowania publiczności we współtworzenie wydarzeń kulturalnych . To nowe doświadczenie , zarówno dla uczniów , jak i dla organizatorów , którzy występują w roli animatorów i wspierają grupę młodych ludzi w samodzielnym tworzeniu lokalnych wydarzeń kulturalnych .
The Makers is a long term cultural-animation project that included regular meetings of the festival team and students from a Technical School no . 6 class ( part of Vocational School no . 1 in Poznan ) The final of a three-month collaboration will be an audiovisual project presented by the students at Centrum Amarant during this year ’ s Short Waves Festival .
During the workshop , the attendees were divided into three groups : curatorial , production and promotion . They performed practical exercises associated with creation of project concepts , graphic identification and budget planning . The final project screening was inspired by the short film chosen by the attendees entitled “ Beat ” ( dir . Aneil Karia , fiction , Great Britain 2013 , 12 ’), in which emotions expressed in the form of dance become the foundation for discussion on otherness and loneliness in a modern city .
The initiative appears in the Short Waves Festival program for the first time as an effect of audience ’ s demand for engagement in co-creation of cultural events . This new experience , both for the students and organizers who perform as animators and support a group of young people in independent creation of local cultural events .
