Wielokanałowa instalacja muzyczna będąca ścieżką dźwiękową do nieistniejącego filmu , którego wizualna realizacja dokona się tylko i wyłącznie w wyobraźni odbiorcy . ” Music for the imaginary movie ” to pierwsza część premierowego projektu Hidden Pleasures , przygotowanego przez DJ Elvirę specjalnie na zamówienie Short Waves Festival .

DJ i producent z Poznania związany z miejscowym kolektywem Rewir . Po wielu latach doskonalenia techniki DJingu i kolekcjonowania płyt wypracował muzyczny styl , oscylujący pomiędzy acid techno i house . Obecnie skupia się na pracy w studio , gdzie w oparciu o analogowe syntezatory , automaty perkusyjne i software tworzy własną muzykę , przygotowywaną później w formie energetycznych live ’ ów . Od niedawna działa także w ramach szeroko pojętego sound artu , realizując projekty wykorzystujące nowe technologie , takie jak kinect czy multi-kanałowa projekcja dźwięku .
A multi-channel musical installation that constitutes a soundtrack to a non-existent film whose visual projection will be created solely in the imagination of the audience . “ Music for the imaginary movie ” is a first part of the project entitled Hidden Pleasures premiering at Short Waves Festival , a custom work created for the festival by DJ Elvira .
DJ Elvira
DJ and producer from Poznań , associated with a local collective Rewir . After many years of honing his DJ technique and collecting vinyls he has developed a style oscillating between acid techno and house . At the moment , he is focusing on studio work where he creates his own music based on analogue synthesizers , drum machines and software , later presented in the form of energetic live sets . Recently , he has been active in broadly defined sound art , focusing on projects employing new technologies such as kinect or mult-channel sound projections .
