Oscar's Dreams

One day there was a man named Oscar. He spent his days working at a McDonald's. He loved, and hated his job. He loved seeing people every day, but hated his boss, Bob.

"Hey Bob, do you think I can get a job as a dancer?" asked Oscar.

"Let me think ...... NO!" yelled Bob.

On the way home, Oscar thought about what Bob had said.

"Hey mom, I’m home," screamed Oscar.

He walked into the living room, surprised by his friends, Alex and Juan.

"Oscar, do you want to go to a party with us?" asked Juan.

"Sure," said Oscar.

They got to the party and the music was loud. There were a lot of people already there. Oscar went to chat with people and dance with some girls.

"Hey, I like this song. How about you?" Oscar shouted.

"What?" yelled the girl.

"Never mind," Oscar said sadly.

Oscar walked away. He leaned against the wall. A man

walked next to him and asked Oscar many questions, including one about his dreams.

"What are your dreams?" asked the man.

"I hope to be a professional dancer or be on a show," said Oscar.

"You know, my uncle owns a TV show just for dancers," said the man. "How would you like to be on the show?"

"Yes!" exclaimed Oscar with joy.

Oscar walked in the restroom. When he walked out, nobody was at the party except an old man so he talked to the him.
