The Stranger

I was on my way to Europe and I saw a hitchhiker. She was BEAUTIFUL!!! So, I picked her up and asked her, “What’s your name?"

"My name is Samantha James, and you are?" she replied.

"I'm Louie Saratelli, what happened? Why were you walking? Where is your car?" I asked.

"My car broke down a few miles back," she answered.

"Oh, are you hungry?" I asked with the softest tone.

"Yes, can we go eat something?" she asked.

"Sure," I said.

I took her to the finest restaurant in Texas.

Gasp!

"You didn't have to take me here!" she said, thinking it was great.

"Well, I want you to eat something delicious," I said.

"Oh, thank you," Samantha replied.

As we were sitting down waiting, that’s when I asked, “Would you like to forget everything and leave with me to Europe?"

"Umm, I don't know, I guess, I am an explorer."

"Well, uhh, come explore Europe with me. We can be together forever, and I’m rich. I can get you clothes, a car, and a beautiful new home," I explained.

"Okay, I'll go just to see how it is," Samantha agreed.

It had only been a week and we argued every day. One day she left out the door. On the next night she left a note on the nightstand that said she's going back to Texas. A year
