The Somers Point Beach Concert is a free event where the public is invited to bring their beach chairs and coolers. There are limited snacks and beverages (non-alcoholic) available for purchase.
The setting is beautiful with the stage very close to the water line on Somers Point’s lovely, little municipal beach. The pastel hues of the sunset and the glimmers on the bay looking across to Ocean City’s lights make it a magical venue for the world class entertainment presented.
Opening up the 25th anniversary of the Somers Point Beach Concert Series on June 16th will be Mike Zito ! Mike is nominated for two BLUES MUSIC AWARDS in the "Contemporary Blues Male Artist" and "Rock Blues Album of the Year" categories. Then on June 23rd John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band return for an encore performance! These first 2 concerts will set the pace for what looks like a scorching summer of Music on the Beach! Some names to look forward too include, The incomparable Walter Trout, Devon Allman and Terrance Simien along with The Tony Mart all stars, Jeramiah Hunter band and many more great surprises! Come on Summer!
