Grozny Mall is really a unique project implementer in the Chechen Republic territory. Here innovative architectural solutions and multifunctional infrastructure are laid. At the same time, this mall will become the largest shopping and entertainment center in the southern part of the country. SEC representatives emphasize that the facility will surpass 25 football fields in area, and 5 million people have been registered in the coverage area.
The SEC will be connected by a pedestrian bridge with Akhmat Tower. On this bridge, restaurants and cafes with panoramic views will be located, as well as an exhibition exposition with photographs and the history of the construction of objects. It will be possible to admire the SEC from a height, and therefore, the roof of the facility was decided to be designed as a “fifth facade”. The crystal-shaped building will be almost transparent, and only two materials are used in its decoration, that is, silver-colored metal and glass. The architectural lines are dominated by sharp and beveled corners and edges, multifaceted surfaces; this creates a prismatic effect that changes colors throughout the day. Therefore, the mall appearance will also be different at different times of the day. The octagonal roof is made in the form of multifaceted silver-colored metal surfaces and resembles the structure of a crystal lattice. The same solution is used for all four facades.
The SEC is supposed to be divided into three levels: the territory of taste (hypermarket, shops of world brands, fashion boutiques, a restaurant), the territory of fashion (fashion boutiques, galleries of luxury brands, a household appliance store, a restaurant, access to the pedestrian bridge-gallery leading to the viewing platform of the Akhmat Tower MFC), entertainment area (multiplex cinema, bowling center, active recreation area, children's entertainment area, food court with a summer terrace and restaurant).
The estimated date for commissioning the facility is the end of 2020. The investments are estimated at 6.6 billion rubles.
