The net growth in “restaurants and cafes” profile is 209 stores.

The main reason for that is active development of the fast food restaurants’ chains. Leaders of fast-food market continue to open new restaurants and expand their geographical presence. Burger King and KFC are the leaders. Burger King became the record-holder in the number of opened new stores. The company plans to remain the leader in its segment for the nearest several years. Franchising chain KFC is at the stage of implementation of the new business model, according to which almost all retail stores owned by the franchiser company will be in the ownership of franchisee. The positive dynamics in changes of the number of retail stores is also noticed in “household goods”, “electronic appliances” and “perfumery and cosmetics”.

Fashion-retailers opened 658 new retail stores with almost the same number of closings.

Companies developing the clothing retail stores continue their optimization. Such sport fashion brands as Adidas, Adidas Kids and Reebok became the leaders by decrease in the number of stores. These branded stores continue to open during the year, but in total the number of closed existing stores of these brands is twice bigger than the number of newly opened ones.

Many large fashion retail chains such as Adidas Group, Inditex and H&M forecast the growth in online trade turnover while reducing their offline expansion.
