$HL?P: The App Overview
College students and professors constantly have their hands tied. Whether they are in class,
conducting research, cramming for a midterm, studying OCR strategies or saturating their resumés,
Penn students are yearning for a phone application and website that will put more time into their day
and relieve them of stresses outside of school.
SHLEP makes users’ life more efficient and healthy by universalizing their entire to-do-list and
having tasks completed by reliable students/faculty affiliated with their University. The app will allow
you to generate a list of all the tasks you need completed and declare the maximum amount you
would pay to have it done. The list will be posted to a secure “Request Board” where affiliated users
request and fulfill the tasks. The app also creates a new forum of social networking, with the tip option
and rate and review of your deliverer (Shlepper). This also helps students that are looking to make
some more money while going to school being able to work on their own schedule. They have the
ability to do quick jobs during free time or while they are doing their own errands as well.
