Celebrating Gratitude with Technology

Gratitude. You hear it all the time now. Especially if you plan on having
any success in life. But, does that mean you need to carry around a
large notebook with you everywhere so you can jot down your grate-
fulness when it strikes?
Well, no. Thanks to technology you can use some handy apps to jour-
nal, pray and give thanks all while on the go or in the convenience of
your home.
Praying for Others
One way I find gratitude is through praying for others. The act of pray-
ing for others helps me to appreciate what I have to be thankful for
and just how blessed I am regardless of what is happening. By praying
for others I am able to not focus on me, me, and me all the time. Espe-
cially if you are going through
a trying time, praying for
others is the best way to put
things into perspective and
share God’s love.
Even if you are a paper person,
I like having my prayer app
on hand to drop in names of
people who need prayer. This
is especially helpful at church
when the Pastor is reading off
names.
The app that I use on my
phone is Prayer Pro. I love
the simplicity of this app and
how easy it is to input names,
make lists and categories, and
record the answers. Recording
answers to prayer is helpful for
when you are going through
a difficult situation. You can
