understand the unmerited favor in my life. I understand that “my life
and my gifts” are not about me at all but about the people God called
me to serve.
This is why, this season you should take a moment to evaluate how
you take care of your temple, such as what things you put in your
body, what you eat, what you listen to and watch. Are those things
I gained a better understanding of the
purpose of my gifts and those are the
things I am thankful and grateful for
this year.
God honoring? How about the way you dress, when someone sees you
walking down the street or going to work, do they get the impression
that you are the daughter or son of the most High? Can others see
His joy in you? Sometimes we are so busy complaining about the
things we don’t have yet that we fail to give thanks, to give grateful for
another year of grace, deliverance and blessings.
I know we are all busy, trying to get many things done, buying gifts,
getting the house ready and rushing from event to event, but can you
take a moment or two to think back about all the things God has done
for you? My inventory at the top of the article was not a bragging list,
or me beating my chest saying: “see all I have done” but a testimony of
God’s blessings in my life and how He has chosen to glorify Himself in
my life.
I have the feeling that if you slow down enough you too will see that
the Lord has been very good to you this year.
Go put on a pretty outfit, let your hair down and share with the world
what you are joyful and grateful about. You will be a blessing to others
and yourself.
