For several years , I never wrote a thing . On occasion , the thought that I give an account to the Lord for what I produced with my gifts disturbed me . I knew the value of what I had on the inside . I didn ' t know was how to get back what I lost .
One day as I was waking up from my sleep these words rang out loud in my spirit , " One talent , one talent , use your talent !" I moved slow and picked up my pen and pulled out my journal and started to write . To my surprise , as I persisted in writing , the river of writing began to flow again .
Although I had a gift to write , it took me 15 years to write my first book . Once I finished my first book within a period of six months I wrote and published four other books . Since then , I ’ ve published more .
" I enjoy teaching others how to turn their expertise into eBooks , books , online course and other products ."
So , what happened ? As I thought through the process , the Lord made it clear to me . It ' s one thing to have a gift , but another to cultivate it to produce something that generates income for you .
Now , to write a book , you need several skills . I am gifted to write and technically inclined to create long documents and the graphics for my book . Yet , I some of my skills needed more cultivation for me to produce a product with good market value .
God endowed everyone with gifts and abilities , but the onus is on us to develop them . The responsibility is on us to be good stewards of all he gave to us .
Most people fail to do this . As a result , they stay stuck in the class of mediocre , which correlates to their ability to generate income .
