can even be done in a nice and neat 4 day / 3-night package deal. I’ll
discuss more about that later. For now, let’s identify the true meaning
of each R stage and why it’s important for you to take these 3 R’s to
heart.
Renew your mind ...
There are so many things that pull us in every direction daily. Your job,
your boss, your husband, and your children all demand time and per-
formance. Most of us spend more time at work than we do at home.
Your job calls for deadlines that must be met. Your boss is asking for
additional projects to be added to your already overflowing plate.
Then, when you do get home you're playing chauffeur to your kids
and/or personal assistant to your husband. We must take time to
renew our minds from time to time. Not only does it help us to stay
grounded, it also enables us to be the best employee, wife, and mother
we can be. Relaxing your mind has proved to improve mental clarity
as well as physical well-being. So, don't be afraid to take some much
deserved (and needed) time for yourself ... Because you're worth it!
Revitalize your body ...
We are called upon to be so many things to so many people. In theory,
you'd think the best way to serve all these demands would be to keep
our bodies in shape ... right? So why is it that the first thing to get cut
from our daily routine is our work out? Exercise is extremely important
on numerous levels. It increases physical endurance, it guards against
various health issues, and it promotes longevity. So why is it always
the first activity to go when we’re called upon to help someone out? Is
it because you really don’t like to exercise? Or, is it because you think
you’re being selfish if you take time to do something for yourself? No
matter the reason, you must not abandon the one thing that is super
beneficial. Exercising on a regular basis is something that helps us as
well as others. Besides, who’s going to help your family if you’re down
and out? Think about it!
Restore your spirit ...
Restoring your spirit may sound like the hardest task of the three
R’s when in fact, it’s the easiest. All you must do is spend time with
