Starting over in life is never an easy process . Whether it is career , personal or financial , a new beginning requires a lot of work . Zaundra Jackson , CEO of Major Mark Consulting , understands the highs and lows of starting over . As a divorce recovery coach , she helps her clients make the painful transition through the post-divorce process .
Being divorced for over 9 years , Zaundra experienced the pain of divorce first hand in 2007 . She can identify with her clients ’ needs after experiencing the end of her 11-year marriage . Ms . Jackson states , “ I love to see God do for others what he did for me . I watched God show up and show out in ways I never knew .”
Away from her family , she had little support to help her through the transition . It was a dark time in her life . She found comfort and sometimes pain from her church family . Christian woman who endure divorce carry a stigma that divorced Christian men do not . Zaundra states , “ It felt like a big D was on my forehead . I felt judged all the time . Here is this young woman with two kids and no ring . It made me shrink inside .”
