3-Tips to Build Positive Relationships with Food By: Chef Dolores Lee A s I began to prepare for this article, I recalled my “why” in wanting to work in the culinary arts industry. My response, I want to use my food as a platform to build relationships in a positive atmosphere. In today's, society the dinner table is almost passé. “ “ I have great hope that we will begin to put tech devices down and return to the dinner table. Food can create the opportunity to impact the lives of others’ in ways we may have never expected. I learned this lesson with my daughter, Jasmine. As a parent, I believe we all have hit a rough patch with our children at some point and time. My time came during an extended custody battle. At times, talking with my daughter was frustrating. When we did speak, the word sassy is one that comes immediately to mind. 07
