Dress like You Have Inside Information…….Because
You Do.

This month we are talking about relationships. Since my
column is about fashion, I decided to discuss how what
we wear affects ALL our relationships.
Every interaction we have is a relationship. When you
buy coffee, you interact with the person who serves it to
you (I prefer chai tea with coconut milk). If you travel,
you interact with the airport security guard who checks
your passport. You have a relationship with all those
people, albeit short ones.
How many times have you gotten a phone call with an
opportunity and you were not dressed for the occasion?
I'm guessing too many times to count. Did you know as
women of God we should expect great things to happen?
Read Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans and thoughts
that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and
well-being and not for disaster to give you a future and a
hope."(Amplified Version)
Then you’ll know to always expect great things in your
life. It is why every day I get up early and pamper myself.
I take a long shower and wash my hair, slather on oils
and lotions to prepare my body for an amazing day. I
follow that with a fabulous outfit and make-up, whether
I have client meetings or not.
