I’m a coach and online business strategist with a side of virtual assistance for people who are getting started with their dreams and goals and people who are switching their business from offline to online. I am also an artist specializing in pyrography. How did COVID-19 make an impact on your business model? It didn’t exactly change my business model since I’ve been online for 5 years. But stay-at-home confirmed the challenges businesses face going online when their focus has been primarily offline. Businesses generally have a website, but they don’t have strategies, automations or other income venues in place. Have you made any adjustments to your business model? My consultancy and virtual assistance work has been primarily through word of mouth. With a lot of people struggling right now, I’ve been more vocal about how I can help. My clientele has shifted a bit, but when I focus on what’s important to my clients, there’s less concentration on the virus and more on what we want to create. It actually brought more people in who wanted a space to talk about how COVID has impacted them and how they are trying to find the light at the end of the tunnel. Have you made any adjustments to your business model? I have made adjustments by reaching out more and offering more. I have offered free and discounted rates for coaching. I have expanded my network for podcasting.
