Official opening of multipurpose hall (able to seat over 1200 people).
Official blessing by Archbishop Frank Little, Archbishop of Melbourne.
The multipurpose hall contained upstairs rooms for instrumental music, singing, drama and multipurpose
Included new canteen and kitchen and vast below stage area of storage and maintenance. The architect was Mr Joe Arcaro and the builder Mr Tito Pica, of Davcon.

1997
Mr Kendell’s final year as Principal.
Sr Theresa retired from the College Staff after 37 years of dedicated service. Salvation Army Hall purchased.
1998
Mrs Josephine Gray commenced as College Principal
Superne, the College Magazine is introduced

The College Annual was first titled “Cordis”, a Latin term meaning “of the heart”.
Sixth stream (homerooms) of classes introduced at Yr 7.
Enrollment are at 900.
