Family Fun Night
To celebrate Sacred Heart’s 60th Anniversary, several activities and events were organized and held throughout the year. The final event of the year was a spectacular end of year Family Fun Night, which was held on Tuesday 5th December. This night was organized and run by a small group of dedicated and hardworking parents of the College working with a small group of staff from the 60th Anniversary Committee.
After several months of planning, the night proved to be a great success. The night celebrated not only 60 years of Sacred Heart, but also the cultural diversity that exists within the College community. Families were enticed by great food, a groovy disco and some multicultural entertainment. An amazing raffle was held, as too was a silent auction. Families were also able to enter some fun competitions and participate in some games.
The committee would like to sincerely thank all families, students and staff who participated in and assisted in making this night a success. It was a very special night and the money raised on the night went to a very worthwhile cause: the work of the RNDM sisters in the Philippines.
