I was listening to a podcast and the host was talking about GMO’s (genetically modified organisms) and eating organic foods. Her statement was that she cannot single-handedly run large, corporate farms out of business, but she doesn’t have to support them with her dollars. She doesn’t have to participate in their system. With respect to food, I agree with her. I’ve been reading a lot about our food supply, GMO’s, and the value of organic foods. I feel very discouraged and frightened by what large corporations are doing to our food, and there is no way for me as an individual to change what is happening at the hands of the government and these corporate titans.
