Sandblasted tread detail at upper portion of plaza toward ticket booth.
Harlequin plaza design is constructed with more
than 12 inches of miscellaneous crushed base over
four feet of structural high load 40 Styrofoam over
existing box culvert. A part of the plaza is
constructed over compacted fill.
Attention to detail and three special procedures were taken by Shaw & Sons to
ensure that cracks did not occur at the acute angles.
